The UAE is a major Gulf hub for medical supplies, serving its own market and re-export across the region. Medical devices are regulated federally by the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP), with local health authorities (e.g. DHA in Dubai, DoH in Abu Dhabi) for facility-level matters.
The importing company in the UAE must hold the appropriate trade licence and a MOHAP medical-store/importer registration. The importer of record holds these โ not the overseas supplier. SWIFTSKY provides the manufacturer and certification documentation to support product registration.

Products must meet UAE/Emirates standards (ESMA/MoIAT framework) where applicable, in addition to MOHAP medical-device requirements. SWIFTSKY's pre-shipment inspection by SGS, BV or Intertek supports conformity evidence where required.
